Proposal for Vaccination Centre at NBU Campus

Sub. : Setting up of one Covid Vaccination Centre in NBU Campus
Respected Sir,
This letter is being submitted in continuation of my earlier prayer to you dated 29/4/21 proposing urgent conversion of NBU Health Centre into a setting up of Covid Hospital and setting up of Safe Homes in vacant buildings.
It is proposed that a Covid Vaccination Centre be set up in a suitable building in a central location, preferably the Faculty Club and a proposal in this respect be sent by NBU to the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of West Bengal with copy to the CMOH, Darjeeling and OSD, North Bengal Region at Jalpaiguri.
It is needless to mention that this facility will immensely help the NBU community to get inoculated conveniently and fast. It is also proposed that the NBU Alumni be kindly allowed to avail the facility and, if necessary, the NBU Alumni Association will issue credentials to establish their identities.
I appeal to you to kindly take necessary action considering the massive upsurge in Covid infections and consequent disaster around us.
